Lutine history

The English Frigate Lutine sank in 1799 between Terschelling and Vlieland. On board were thousands of kilos of gold and silver, shipped from London to Hamburg to save their economy from ruin. Despite the many searches, the gold is still at the bottom of the North Sea. Martin Hendriksma delved into the history and unravelled secrets about the ship, the only survivor and the mysterious treasure that has captivated prospectors for 200 years.
